Health Fair This Fall in NYC

THANK YOU, LOS ANGELES! for making the DGA-Producer Pension and Health Plans annual health fair, flu shot clinic and first-ever blood drive an overwhelming success. Over 250 DGA Members and their families received free flu shots and participated in our Los Angeles event, now in its 11th year!

HERE WE COME, NEW YORK! The Plans are excited to bring the health fair, free flu shot clinic and blood drive to New York City on October 19. This event is exclusively for DGA members (regardless of Health Plan coverage status) and their families. Reservations are required for all flu shots and can be made below. As reservations are filling up quickly, we added additional appointments and extended the flu shot clinic until 6:00 p.m.

🩸WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO MAKE OUR BLOOD DRIVE GOAL🩸

Blood supplies in the U.S. are at critically low levels. To do our part, the Plans are looking for volunteers to participate in our first-ever blood drive to be held alongside our annual health fair and flu shot clinic in New York City. The NY Blood Center has confirmed there is no danger in giving blood before or after getting a flu shot.

IMPORTANT DETAILS — PLEASE READ

  • Flu shots are free to all DGA Members and dependents ages 13 and older, regardless of Health Plan coverage status.
  • The DGA Foundation is generously covering the cost for members not covered under the Health Plan.
  • A separate reservation for each person in your party is required for the flu shot. Each time slot allows for multiple appointments (subject to availability). Each reservation must be made online by clicking the button provided above. For assistance with making the reservation, contact the Plans Office at (323) 866-2216 or flushots@dgaplans.org.
  • You will be required to complete the Vaccine Registration Form separately after booking your appointment to indicate the type of flu shot you would like.
  • Standard, preservative-free and high-dose flu shots are available. However, if you have a history of egg allergy of any severity, it is recommended that you consult with your medical provider regarding the flu vaccine. Women who are pregnant or nursing can request a preservative-free flu shot.
  • Upon arrival at your appointed time, follow the signs to the Flu Shot Clinic sign-in area. NOTE: If you are receiving the flu shot for the first time, expect to stay for 15 minutes following your shot to ensure there are no adverse reactions.
  • If you are experiencing a fever or flu-like symptoms on the day of your appointment, please do not attend the Flu Shot Clinic. You should cancel your appointment and consult your medical provider.

myPHP Information Booth

  • Learn about the myPHP benefits portal, where participants in the Pension and Health Plans can access their personal benefits information—including Health Plan eligibility, medical claims, employer contributions, estimated pension benefit accruals and more—wherever you have internet access!
  • Participants who subscribe to myPHP for the first time and go paperless and current myPHP subscribers who go paperless at the Health Fair’s myPHP information booth will be entered into a raffle drawing for an Apple HomePod smart speaker.
