The DGA–Producer Health Plan covers weight loss medications when prescribed by its benefits provider, Flyte. However, participants may also be eligible for the savings programs and manufacturer coupons below to decrease their out-of-pocket costs.


AstraZeneca’s AZ&Me Prescription Savings Program
For those uninsured and covered by Medicare, medications are provided at no cost. You may remain enrolled for up to one year and reapply at the end of the year. Medications are mailed.


AstraZeneca’s Savings Card with Mail Order Rebate for Bydureon BCise
Pay as little as $0 each month if eligible and commercially insured. If your insurance plan offers a mail-order option, you can complete the Savings Card reimbursement form and mail it with proof of purchase to receive your savings refund.

Pay as little as $25 for each 30-day supply, if eligible and commercially insured. If your insurance plan offers a mail-order option, you can complete the Savings Card reimbursement form and mail it with proof of purchase to receive your savings refund.


GoodRx
Offers discounts for Wegovy and Ozempic that are about $200-$300 off at most pharmacies for pens, and $100-$300 off for Mounjaro. GoodRxalso has savings card programs for eligible, commercially insured patients whose insurance covers Ozempic and Mounjaro for which they will pay as little as $25 for injections. Lilly’s Zepbound Savings Card and Cash Pay Option
Savings Card for those who have commercial insurance – If your insurance covers the medication, you can pay as low as $25 for a 1 or 3 month supply (depends on eligibility) through the savings card.
Cash pay option for those who are uninsured or Medicare patients – Those eligible for the cash pay option can pay $399 for a 1-month prescription of the Zepbound 2.5-mg vial or $549 for a 1-month prescription of the Zepbound 5-mg vial— no insurance or savings card accepted. Additional taxes and fees may apply.


NiceRx Patient Assistance Program
Helps with the cost of specific medications like Victoza that saves $500-$900 a month. Has an enrollment and eligibility check process similar to Flyte to determine if someone qualifies for the discounts. To be eligible, one must be a permanent legal resident, uninsured, or have insurance that doesn’t cover the medication, and meet certain income eligibility requirements.


NovoCare’s Patient Assistance Program for Ozempic, Rybelsus, Victoza and Xultophy
Eligibility requirements include a total household income that’s below 400% of the federal poverty level and having Medicare or no insurance. Patients who are approved for the PAP may qualify to receive free medicine from Novo Nordisk.

Ozempic’s Savings Card
With commercial or private insurance, you can pay as little as $25 for a 1-3 month supply of Ozempic up to 24 months.

For patient assistance, you must have an annual household income of ≤400% of the current Federal Poverty Level and be uninsured or functionally uninsured.

Eligible patients pay as little as $25 for 12 pens. Eligibility requirements include enrollment in a commercial drug insurance plan, US residency and not enrolled in any government funded healthcare program.
